Meet the Founder, LAUREN ANDERSON.

Lauren is a published computational perception researcher, omnimedia journalist, and neuropsychology professional with a background in behavioral healthcare and wellness advocacy. 

With over a decade of combined corporate and non-profit work experience, she prides herself in providing tailored services at the corporate and creative level.

Her brand is inspired by the simple anagram of her first name, ‘Lauren’, which conveniently scrambles into the words neural and unreal. She has strongly identified with this aspect of her branding due to her love of puzzles and games, in addition to her research interests in the neural and cognitive sciences.

These seemingly serendipitous synchronicities fuel her belief in the magic of life that empiricism often struggles to explain and has contributed to the birth of the NEURALAUREN project and her ever-evolving journey as an accidental artist.

The Cleveland born, Naples raised, Auckland living Founder is a clinical mental health worker and freelance columnist by day and a classically trained trumpeter turned DJ by night. 

In 2023, Lauren took the leap into entrepreneurship and formally established NEURALAUREN LLC.

Lauren places a heavy emphasis on taking a holistic approach to her personal coaching practices through the lens of psychological and physiological skill building. Her knowledge of consumer behavior, passion for musicianship and artistry, and her multimedia journalistic coverage has opened the door for a variety of fulfilling vocational and service opportunities.

When Lauren isn't working, reading, or spending time with loved ones, you can find her shredding the decks of her DDJ-REV-1 while playing her 43 BachStrad, creating and/or consuming some form of art, going for a hike, or enjoying an absurdly strong cup of coffee in-between lengthy Xbox and Nintendo Switch gameplay sessions.
